EXPRESSION IN OIL PAINTING
There's more to have something to say than just opening your mouth and talking. There are ways to express yourself through art or poerty, or dancing. I like to express myself by Oil Painting. I have been painting most of my adult life and teaching since 1779. I'm a Certified Instructor of both Bob Ross and Wm Alexander. I have appeared on T.V.(PBS) and have taught all over the United States. Would love to hear from any one that is interested in Oil Painting E-Mail at [email protected]
PAINTING STILL LIFE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
If you enjoy painting still life subjects, there are some general concepts that can help you succeed. Avoid placing a single object directly in the center of the canvas. More importantly, place the various objects in different planes within the frame. By doing so, you can creat a sense of depth and visual interest that goes well beyond what a flat linear composition would accomplish. Painting still life subjects allows you to experiment with composition. You can quickly rerrange objects until you come up with a composition that is pleasing, than begin to paint. There will be more TIPS on PAINTING so check this site all the time.
